About the role:

  • Supervise children during the lunch break, both in the dining area and outside in the playground
  • Encourage positive play and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
  • Prepare food and help the pupils eat a nutritious meal
  • Support pupils in developing good manners and social skills during lunchtime
  • Help manage minor incidents and report and concerns to the relevant staff

We are seeking a passionate, caring and patient MDSA who thrives on making meaningful connections and plays an important part in the child daily routine and who:

  • Has a kind, calm and friendly manner
  • Enjoys working with children contributing to their development
  • Is reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
  • Has experience working in a school or with children (preferred but not essential - training will be provided)
