Job Title: Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA)

Salary: £24,413 - £25,185 per annum (pro rata)

5 days per week - 1 hour 10mins per day term time

St Mary’s Catholic Primary is a highly successful school in the centre of Ipswich. We are part of the Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

We are looking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic MDSA to join our friendly lunchtime team. The role involves supervising and supporting pupils during the lunch break, both in the dining hall and on the playground.

The successful candidate will:

Supervise and engage with pupils to ensure a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

Encourage positive behaviour and good manners.

Support children in developing social skills through play and interaction.

Work as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

We are looking for someone who:

Enjoys working with children and building positive relationships.

Is kind, patient and approachable.

Can use initiative while maintaining a safe and calm environment.
