What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint two friendly, caring early years qualified practitioners to the role ofMeal Time Assistant.

These roles are required to support our growing lunch club across all provisions in Ham Drive Nursery School and Day Care.

A minimum of an Early Years level 2 qualification is essential.

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing young children with a safe and structured mealtime where they can eat and play with their friends happily. They will also have the ability to form positive relationships with young children quickly. They will provide support and encouragement to the children to eat their packed lunch and interact calmly and amicably with their peers.

These posts will be permanent.

Working hours will be:

11.30 - 1.15pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

Safeguarding is a very important aspect of Ham Drive Nursery School and Day Care. All applicants will be expected to have a full DBS check and disclose any issues which may be relevant to them working in a nursery.
