Medical/Reception Assistant job summary

32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

Do you want to work in an exceptional school?

We are looking for a hardworking and flexible Medical/Reception Assistant with good IT skills and a high level of personal drive. You will work within the Student Support team to provide efficient and effective first aid/welfare and administrative support to the school and be the first contact for first aid assistance in the school.


The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have good communication, numeracy and literacy skills
  • Have a First Aid at Work certificate
  • Have experience working with children in a school environment and a real willingness to understand the issues facing schools and the administrative provision they necessitate
  • Have relevant IT skills including Word and Excel
  • Have experience of working in a multicultural environment
