We are looking for an enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our friendly team in taking care of all of the children on the school premises during the midday break.
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Start Date: ASAP
- Working Hours: 7.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 12pm - 1:30pm
A Day in the Life:
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during the midday break.
- Supervising the children whilst playing, ensuring they are keeping to the school rules.
- Assisting children in selecting their meal and sitting in an appropriate place in the dining hall, sandwich room.
- Assisting children with eating their meal if applicable.
- Enforcing the necessary sanctions for maintaining good order.
- Administering basic first aid as required.
