Midday Assistant job summary

Briscoe Primary School & Nursery are seeking an enthusiastic, caring Midday Assistant who enjoys working with children to join their friendly, supportive team.

As Midday Assistant you will help to maintain a safe, happy and secure environment during lunchtime for our lovely children.

Successful applicants will:

• Supervise children in the lunch hall
• Encourage imaginative play outside (and indoors when it's raining)
• Ensure the good behaviour of pupils
• Administer first aid

Established in 2018, The Atrium works to inspire hope and positivity in pupils and families who have experienced significant challenges and/or social and emotional trauma.

Briscoe Primary School & Nursery and The Atrium are part of the HEARTS Academy Trust, a Trust of local schools that has the values of happiness, equity, achievement, resilience, truth and spirituality. The school calendar consists of 184 days contact time with pupils, 5 non-pupil days and the equivalent of 6 days of high quality continuous professional development.
