Midday Play Leader job summary
At Strike Lane Primary School, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Midday Play Leader to join our friendly team and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.
As a Midday Play Leader, you will be at the heart of our school community, ensuring that lunchtimes are not only safe but also fun and engaging. You will:

Supervise and engage with pupils during lunchtime, promoting positive play and social interaction

Encourage teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among all children
-
Organise and lead structured and unstructured activities, both indoors and outdoors
-
Support children in developing social skills and resolving minor conflicts in a positive way

Work closely with staff to maintain a safe and happy school environment
We are looking for someone who is:

Creative, with ideas to make lunchtime fun and inclusive

Able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with children and colleagues

ROLE DETAILS
This position is part time, permanent, working 5 hours per week Monday to Friday 12pm to 1pm, term-time only plus training time
