Midday Supervisor job summary

The Role:

Are you a friendly, hardworking, caring and positive individual who would like to work with children? We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to our friendly, welcoming school. We can offer 6.25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas.
  • Encourage positive play and social interactions among pupils.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils, addressing any issues or incidents promptly.
  • Assist with the setup and tidying of dining areas, including cleaning tables and managing equipment.
  • Promote good behaviour and adherence to school policies during lunchtime.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring and patient individual who enjoys working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills with both children and adults.
  • Awareness of health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
