Ferndown Middle School is situated in Ferndown adjacent to Ferndown First and Ferndown Upper Schools. The school has up to 600 pupils, covering the age range 9 to 13 years old (year groups 5 to 8).
We are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team to support the children for the lunchtime period during term time only.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 8 hours and 25 mins per week, to be worked across Monday to Friday 11.50 – 1.31, 38 weeks per year, term time only
We are looking for a permanent Midday Supervisor to support the children whilst eating their lunch. Duties include setting up the school hall with tables and chairs, supervising the children during their break, both in the hall and on the playground, and clearing the hall after lunch. There is manual handling involved in setting up and clearing away the hall.
We strongly advise that you visit the school during a lunchtime service to help you understand the role.
