Midday Supervisor job summary

This role is working 12:00pm to 1:pm Monday to Friday when school is open. This is a term time only role.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour of our pupils during the lunch period. Your responsibilities will include supervising pupils in the lunch area, playground, and classrooms during wet play; encouraging healthy eating habits; supporting play activities; and maintaining a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during lunch and playtimes, promoting positive behaviour and safety
  • Encourage healthy eating and monitor pupils’ wellbeing
  • Organise and manage lunch area setup and tidying
  • Respond to minor incidents with first aid and report serious concerns to senior staff
  • Support pupils with medical or dietary needs
  • Promote the school’s values of being safe, ready, respectful, kind, and unique
