We are looking for a friendly, reliable Midday Supervisor to join E-ACT Ilminster Academy. You’ll support our pupils during lunch, helping to create a safe, positive and enjoyable environment. If you enjoy working with children and making a real difference each day, we’d love you to join our team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Support positive behaviour and encourage good social interactions.
  • Assist with organising play activities and promoting active, inclusive play.
  • Manage dining areas, helping pupils with routines and expectations.
  • Address minor issues or concerns and report to relevant staff when needed.

Pay range: SCP2 - £3,534.01 - FTE: £24,413.00 - 6.25 hours per week - 38 weeks - Fixed Term - 22.07.2026

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Friendly, approachable manner with a passion for supporting children
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to supervise groups of pupils and maintain positive behaviour
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stay calm, fair, and consistent when managing situations
  • Basic understanding of safeguarding and willingness to undertake training
