Your new school Lift Percy Shurmer is a large two-form entry primary academy who currently have 450 pupils aged from 3 to 11 which also include 39 children in the Nursery and 22 deaf pupils in our Deaf Learning Base (DLB). The school is led by an ambitious and dedicated Principle, Marie Duffy, who has established a strong and personable team and in 2023 were graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted who recognised ''parents are overwhelmingly positive about the quality of education their children receive.'' They are now looking for an enthusiastic midday supervisor to join our team. Your new role The school is a vibrant and very busy school with a friendly culture and we are looking for a Midday Supervisor to take care of all students on the school premises during any breaktime hours when students are not in class. The role is critical in ensuring the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of students, supervising students in dining areas, playgrounds and other designated areas within the school premises to create a safe and enjoyable breaktime experience. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience of supervising children or young people as a parent or carer with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and be able to resolve problems independently and use initiative. The role is due to commence ASAP. This is a permanent position. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response. Lift Percy Shurmer and Lift Montgomery are led by an Executive Principal and one management board. Each school has a Head of School. Our Curriculum

We believe that children learn best when their learning experiences are evocative, therefore we teach most of our subjects through a connected curriculum. This works by delivering a different theme in each year group for each term throughout the year. The curriculum is planned so that as many learning experiences as possible are linked to this theme; this allows the children to see that their skills are all connected. During the children's learning we try to integrate as many real life experiences as possible that are related to the area they are studying. Literacy, Numeracy and ICT underline our curriculum to ensure that the key skills children need for success, are fully learned before the children move on to secondary education.
