Midday Supervisor job summary

Working hours 11:45 - 13:15 Monday - Friday - 7.5 hours per week
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our team. You will be part of a team responsible for supervising pupils and the school’s premises during the midday break to ensure that the break runs effectively and that the safety and welfare of pupils are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils in the lunch area, playground, and classrooms
- Encourage pupils to eat their lunch and monitor those who don’t
- Organise play activities to encourage pupils to play
- Deliver first aid to respond to minor incidents
- Report any incidents of serious misbehaviour
Requirements:
- First aid training (or willingness to complete it)
- Experience working with children or young people
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to issues
- Effective communication skills
