What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Be patient, caring and responsive to children’s needs
  • Be supportive of school values and family ethos
  • Work as part of a successful team
  • Be organised, supportive and enjoy working with 4–11-year-olds
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of pupils during the midday break
  • Have a good understanding of effective supervision of pupils in and about school
  • Take responsibility for initiating appropriate strategies to manage playground behaviour
