The School

The Role
We are seeking a reliable and caring Midday Supervisor to join our team and support pupils during the lunchtime period. This is an important role within the school, helping to ensure that children are safe, happy, and well supervised in both the dining hall and playground. You will encourage positive behaviour, good manners, and inclusive play, while helping to create a calm and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all pupils.
The successful candidate will be reliable, versatile and enjoy working with children. They:
- Will assist in leading and engaging children in activities over the lunchtime period
- Must be enthusiastic, a team player and be able to build good relationships with children.
- Will supervise the children at lunchtimes in the playground, classroom and dining room and will be required to contribute to the development of a positive approach to lunchtime play.
- Encourage children to practise appropriate table manners and maintain a calm atmosphere in the dining room whilst eating.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS including the children's barred list check and evidence of the formal qualifications required for the role.
