Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and caring person who enjoys working with children to join our team of friendly midday supervisors. You will be required to supervise pupils during the lunchtime period whilst they are in the school dining hall or on the playground. An ability to interact with children and encourage active play is essential.

The hours of work are 7.5 per week. 11:30am to 1:00pm Monday to Friday.

Previous experience of working with children and a first aid qualification would be an advantage.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Record Declaration Form prior to interview.

The Selection Criteria document is critical in the process and sets out the requirements which the person appointed should have in order to perform the duties of the post satisfactorily and against which applicants will be assessed. The selection criteria will be used throughout the recruitment process as an objective test of assessing candidates at shortlisting, test and interview stages. Shortlisting will be completed by assessing against the advertised person specification.
