Hethersett VC Primary is a friendly school situated in a popular, growing village on the Southern outskirts of Norwich. There are currently 270 pupils and the staff works together forming a strong team to best meet the needs of the children. 

The Governors are looking for an enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant to join us. The successful candidate will:

  • Have belief in all children
  • Have a calm and caring approach
  • Provide a safe and secure lunchtime period
  • Be able to liaise successfully with the class teacher to provide consistent support
  • Show a commitment to the wellbeing of all children through careful supervision whilst encouraging them to play safely
  • Motivate all children to participate in physical activities, using the equipment and resources available
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Respect confidentiality and follow school safeguarding procedures
  • Be reliable and maintain good time-keeping
  • Carry out other tasks associated with lunchtimes such as assisting in the dining hall

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
