What skills and experience we're looking for

Do you have patience and empathy, a good sense of humour and are you reliable? Would you like to work with children during their lunchtime play to ensure that the whole lunchtime experience can be enjoyed in a safe and calm environment? If so, this is the role for you.

We are looking for kind, caring and enthusiastic people to join our hard working and valuable team of Midday Supervisory Assistants.

The role will include:

  • setting up and clearing away the dining hall, moving tables
  • promoting active play
  • supervision of playground, field and indoor supervising of the dining hall
  • encouraging healthy eating
  • first aid
  • following the School’s Behaviour Policy

The Midday Supervisory Assistant role will require you to work 8 hours 45 minutes per week (11.30am to 1.15pm), Monday to Friday term time only. Your salary will be at Hay Pay Grade 1A - £4,829 per annum (£23,657 FTE) to start as soon as possible (subject to satisfactory references and DBS clearance).

In the first instance this will be a 1 year Fixed term position until 31stAugust 2026, with potential to be made permanent.
