An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join the positive and inclusive staff at Magdalen Gates Primary School. We are proud to be a School of Sanctuary and serve a diverse and vibrant part of the city of Norwich. Despite being in the city, Magdalen Gates Primary really does feel like a village school due to the friendly and personal atmosphere in the school where everyone is welcome. 

We are seeking to employ a Midday Supervisory Assistant who:

  • has a calm, caring and consistent approach and enjoys working with children.
  • is committed to the wellbeing of all children.
  • can provide supervision and support to ensure that children are kept safe.
  • will promote inclusion and acceptance.
  • will offer appropriate individual support as necessary.
  • will help in the dining areas as necessary, including cleaning and putting away tables.
  • can work flexibly and effectively as part of our strong lunchtime team.
  • will actively encourage children to play safely and productively while supervising them at lunchtimes.
  • is very discrete, can respect confidentiality and follow the very best child protection practices.
  • is reliable and has good time-keeping.
