Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) - Flexible days job summary

Ogbourne St George School, set in an area of outstanding beauty whose values of Relationships, Integrity, Valour, Excellence, Respect and Service are seeking a new addition to their established, friendly team.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) 1 hour per day term time only, Monday - Friday between 12pm -1pm. We are happy to split days between applicants if preferred. There is the potential for additional hours in the future.

You will work in partnership with classroom staff to support pupils during lunchtimes. Responsibilities include the supervision of pupils during lunchtime as required to ensure the safety, general welfare and behaviour management of pupils during lunchtime.

The successful candidates will;

  • Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed to supporting our values
  • Have the drive and energy to enthuse and inspire our children
  • Help children in the food hall to be healthy and refuel for the rest of the day
  • Believe in providing a fun environment whilst children take a break from their lessons
  • Support children to engage in play
  • Support our classroom staff by providing a fulfilling lunchtime break for our children
