Midday Supervisory Assistant - Nursery job summary
This is a permanent appointment - 7.5 hours per week (11:30am-1:00pm) Term Time only - 38 weeks per year.
Duties of the role are:
- Collect food from the school kitchen, deliver to nursery and serve to the children
- Supervise and assist the children during their lunch - all children
- Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained
- Maintain checks throughout the lunchtime period to ensure pupils are safe
- Clean and tidy the lunchtime space and return the trolley to the main school kitchen
- Lead the children in the establishment of suitable activities (as required)
- Be aware of and follow the school’s safeguarding, fire and other emergency procedures
