What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to employ a Midday Supervisory Assistant who:

- has a calm, caring and consistent approach and enjoys working with children.

- is committed to the wellbeing of all children.

- can provide supervision and support to ensure that children are kept safe.

- promote inclusion and acceptance.

- will offer appropriate individual support as necessary.

- will help in the dining areas as necessary, including cleaning and putting away tables.

- can work flexibly and effectively as part of our strong lunchtime team.

- will actively encourage children to play safely and productively while supervising them at lunchtimes.

- is very discrete, can respect confidentiality and follow the very best child protection practices.

- Is reliable and has good time-keeping.

What the school offers its staff

This role could be suitable for someone looking to gain school experience prior to applying for a classroom support role or teacher training. The school would consider creating voluntary classroom placements alongside this role to support the right candidate’s professional development.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
