Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary

We are seeking a hardworking and flexible Midday Meals Supervisor join our team at Pinchbeck East C of E Primary Academy. The hours for this role are from 12pm-1pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.

Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to teamwork is essential, as you will be joining a group of hardworking colleagues who work together to serve meals and supervise children during their lunch period.

Roles and responsibilities:

To set up the hall/ classroom on arrival - putting out tables, chairs and cutlery.

To serve food to pupils ensuring that all pupils receive the meals that the parents have ordered.

To supervise the pupils either in the hall or classroom.

To supervise and interact with pupils during outdoor playtime.

To be aware of any medical/dietary needs of those pupils in your care.

To help clean the hall and classroom after the meals have been eaten.

There will also be a requirement for further training in the role - for example- Food Hygiene & Allergy e-learning courses and manual handling.

Pinchbeck East C of E Primary Academy has a clear commitment to Child Protection and Safeguarding Children. All appointments are subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check, evidence of proof of right to work in the UK as well as other routine recruitment checks. References will be requested prior to interview.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
