This is a very unique opportunity to join our large school and make a difference to our young learners!
Hethersett Woodside moved into a brand new, state of the art building in 2020, and has been gradually growing for a number of years and now is at capacity; with children from Nursery to year 6.
We are looking for a passionate teacher who would relish the opportunity to develop middle leadership skills and experience. This is a maternity cover post, and we welcome applications from experienced teachers who have a passion for making a difference. You will be teaching a Reception class, and leading our Lower Phase: Nursery, Reception and Year 1.
This opportunity offers a unique chance to develop middle leadership experience; supported by a larger Leadership team of experienced professionals.
The ideal candidate will:
- Set high expectations for every learner
- Have a strong knowledge of EYFS, or the passion to develop this knowledge
- Willingness to confidently lead an area of the curriculum
- Experience of leading a team, or leading an initiative within a team
- Be able to work as part of a team both within the classroom and the wider school
- Demonstrate a positive, consistent approach to behaviour management
- Be enthusiastic and hard working with a good sense of humour
