Minibus Driver/AAAE5094 - Grade 2 from £12.85 per hour, £5,636 to £11,272 (Actual Salary) Full time equivalent is £24,796.

St Nicholas Catholic High School is looking for part time minibus driver/s (maximum 16 passengers) to support the school managed bus service providing home to school transport for students along designated routes and timetables. Shifts are mornings between 7.30-9.00am and afternoons 3.00-4.30pm approx. Additional hours are also available during the school day supporting transport requirements for school trips and events. Job share or multiple positions considered.

This role will provide a vital service in helping to ensure students are transported to and from school safely and in a timely manner. Role responsibilities will also include refuelling and undertaking basic checks and maintenance to ensure school owned minibuses are kept clean, safe and roadworthy.

Essential: Applicants must have a full, clean, class D1 driving licence, held for at least 2 years and be over 21 years of age. Ideally minibus driving experience including MIDAS (minibus driver awareness scheme) qualification is desired but not essential, training can be provided upon appointment. A basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is preferable.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude and the communication skills to ensure student passenger safety needs are met when travelling to and from school.
