What skills and experience we're looking for

Dyke House Academy are looking to appoint a Mini Bus Driver/TA for our Inclusion Centre.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that students attending the Inclusion Centre are transported safely, punctually and with care each day. This is more than a driving role, it’s an opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people by helping them access education and support in a calm, positive and respectful environment.

As part of our Inclusion Centre team, you will:

  • Ensure students are transported safely to and from the academy and off-site provisions, maintaining high standards of safety and conduct at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with students, acting as a trusted and reliable adult presence who sets a calm and professional tone at the start and end of each day.
  • Support colleagues within the Inclusion Centre, contributing to the wider pastoral work of the academy and assisting students to engage positively in learning.

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting students who may require additional encouragement to achieve their full potential.
