Minibus Driver and Premises Assistant job summary
Premises Assistant and Minibus Driver 20 hours per week, term time only Monday to Friday 08.30am to 12.30pm Salary PS4 £24,275 FTE Starting pro-rata salary £11,283 Initially fixed term until 31 July 2025
This is a responsible role within the school and we are seeking to appoint someone with a positive approach to work and the ability to work well within a team.
The duties will include a range of general maintenance and cleaning activities, setting up for events and exams, assisting with painting and decorating and having an awareness of health & safety issues and maintenance of the school. The role will also involve driving the minibus, accompanied by a member of pastoral team, to pick up students who have missed the school bus. For insurance purposes you will need to be between 25 and 70 years old with a category D1 driving license - preferably MiDAS trained, or wiling to undertake that training.
