What skills and experience we're looking for

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide transport using the school’s mini-bus, for college students between Forest of Dean College Campus, Cinderford and Dene Magna School in Mitcheldean and occasionally supporting Drybrook and Forest View Primary school with sports fixtures

Driving of School Transport:

  • Timetabled movement of students between the campuses
  • Porterage of post and equipment, as needed, between sites
  • General minibus transport
  • Maintenance of Health and Safety and vehicle safety for fleet vehicles

Whole School Tasks: (When time permits)

  • Assist with distribution of deliveries of goods around the school
  • Set up of furniture for assembly’s and meetings
  • General porterage of small equipment around the school as necessary
  • Assist with CCTV monitoring as required
  • Assist with the Set up for the sound system for Sports Day
  • Portable appliance testing with on going upkeep of database
  • Assist with weekly Fire alarm tests on Friday and record
  • Upkeep of school clock system
  • Assist setting up of stage extension for school productions as required twice year.
  • Minor maintenance aspects around the school as time permits.
  • Any emergency assistance requested by your line manager
