Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (Spanish & Italian) job summary

If you are successful, you will be joining a high achieving MFL department that offers compulsory Spanish and Italian in Key Stage 3 and a very successful GCSE course in both subjects at Key Stage 4. In fact, 77% of our learners achieved grades 9-4 in their Spanish GCSE in 2025, and 85% of them achieved grades 9-4 in their Italian GCSE. We hope to introduce one or both languages into the Sixth Form in the future.

Your primary role will be teaching Spanish and Italian. Italian will be taught mostly in Key Stage 3, although there may be opportunities for the successful candidate to teach some KS4 Italian.
