Modern Languages Teacher job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Modern Languages Department at Fortismere School. Students are taught by an experienced, passionate and collaborative team of specialist Language teachers within a highly successful department. We offer French, Spanish and Mandarin up to Key Stage 5 and have a strong track record of high academic standards. In addition to our strong reputation for European languages, we are a leading school in the teaching of Mandarin.

Fortismere is a high-attaining, mixed foundation secondary school in the heart of Muswell Hill, North London, with a strong tradition of excellence. The Headteacher is looking to appoint a teacher of French and Spanish on a full-time basis, however, part time applications will be considered for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to further enhance the academic and extracurricular impact of the department across the school community. They will place students at the heart of their practice, and contribute to maintaining the outstanding results and progress in the department.
