This is a multi‑site role, requiring the successful candidate to work across academies from Bodmin, Cornwall through to Dartington, Devon, with occasional travel to other Trust academies when required.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Multi‑Site Maintenance Staff/Caretaker to help maintain our academies to an exceptional standard. In this hands‑on role, you will organise and carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring our buildings remain safe, compliant, and in optimum working condition. From routine checks to essential repairs, your work will directly support the smooth running of our educational environments.

You will bring strong practical skills and experience across a range of building maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drainage, lock fixing, and painting and decorating. A good understanding of the challenges involved in maintaining an educational setting would be beneficial.

Alongside technical ability, you will demonstrate strong awareness of Health & Safety, COSHH regulations, risk management, record‑keeping, contractor supervision, site security, and the ongoing upkeep of grounds and external areas. You will communicate effectively, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and play an essential role within our wider Estates Team.
