Multi Sports Assistant School Holidays only job summary

We are seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and energetic Multi-Sports Assistant to support the delivery of a fun and engaging multi-sports programme for children during the school holidays. The successful candidate will help supervise participants, assist in the setup and running of activities, and promote a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

  • Assist the lead coach/programme coordinator in setting up, running, and packing away sports activities.
  • Encourage children to participate actively and enjoy a variety of sports and games.
  • Promote and model good sportsmanship, sharing, and positive teamwork among the children.
  • Follow and uphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
  • Support with behaviour management in a calm and positive manner.
  • Report any incidents, concerns, or injuries to the appropriate staff member promptly.
  • Help maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment for all participants.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
