What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated teacher to join a supportive team who are committed to raising standards and using innovative ways of enhancing the learning experience of the pupils.
You must have experience of working as a Music Teacher in an educational setting and of planning and delivering music programmes of study as an inclusive activity. It is also important that you are able to play one or more musical instruments to a high standard.
We are keen to attract teachers who can demonstrate an optimistic and aspirational attitude towards the pupils. You may not possess all the skills as yet, but bring to us a positive, ‘can do’ approach and we will train you in the appropriate techniques and strategies.
Our teachers are responsible for a small class group supported by classroom assistants and Speech Therapists, and will be expected to contribute to the development of the music curriculum. Trinity School places a significant focus on professional development for all staff.
We are keen to invite colleagues to visit and tour the school and have an informal chat over our expectations and your contribution.
