What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a part time Music Teacher to cover a Maternity leave for end of February 2023 to at least December 2023.
0.5 - 0.6 FTE – Flexibility around hours available.

Required for end of February 2023, a well-qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher to cover a maternity leave, at this successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in Reading. Applicants need to be able to teach Music to at least GSCE level, but preferably to A Level.
The recent Ofsted report, November 2022 stated: “Pupils’ behaviour is exemplary both in lessons and around the school. They respect and exemplify the values within the school pledge. Pupils love being here. Attendance is high, pupils are punctual, and lessons are free from any low-level disruption”
Music plays an important role in the life of Kendrick. Approximately 70% of students learn an instrument privately, at school, or with Berkshire Maestros. Central to the work of everyone in the Music Department is a desire to encourage students to give their very best at whatever level they can achieve.
