Are you a passionate and experienced Music Therapist seeking a rewarding role?
Springwell Leeds Academy, is looking for a dedicated Regional Music Therapist to provide high-quality, specialist music therapy services to children and young people with diverse and complex needs.
In this role, you will work with children and young people facing Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), learning disabilities, and other complex needs across special schools and alternative provisions within the at Springwell Leeds Academy and across the West and North Yorkshire Specialist Schools Partnership (WNYSP) These schools are part of the Wellspring Trust and include:

Forest Moor School
Green Meadows Academy
Penny Field School
You will conduct comprehensive assessments, plan and deliver individual and group music therapy sessions, and manage your own caseload. Collaboration is key, as you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support for pupils.
This position also involves delivering and developing music therapy services to schools outside the WNYSP on a traded (commissioned) basis, contributing to the wider reach and sustainability of the therapy service.
We require a Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Music Therapy from an HCPC approved course and current HCPC registration. You should have demonstrable experience working with children and young people with SEND, and proven experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Strong organisational skills and the ability to travel independently between various school locations are essential.
This is a term-time only contract (39 weeks), with a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience (aligned with NHS Agenda for Change Band 6). An enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK are also required.
