Job summary

Are you looking to start your teaching career in a supportive school who will help you become the teacher you want to be?

The Humanities department has gone from strength to strength in recent years as we offer more curriculum options, with passionate subject specialists who are friendly and supportive. The department strives to make lessons enjoyable yet challenging for students, and to encourage a love of learning and confidence in their understanding. We run many trips to strengthen pupils’ love and understanding of the topics covered, allowing students to experience new opportunities. The department has seen a rapidly increasing growth in the number of students choosing options within the Humanities disciplines, both at KS4 and KS5, and joining us at this time of growth could offer some exciting opportunities.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent History teacher who has strong subject knowledge to join our team. Committed to raising attainment, you will have the ability to motivate students and help develop an engaging and inspiring curriculum in History across all key stages. Our History department prides itself on its commitment to ensuring pupils achieve their full potential and push themselves beyond their comfort zones.

Just 30 minutes by train from Central London, The Highcrest Academy is the first All Ability Academy in the county of Buckinghamshire.
