Are you an experienced, enthusiastic, and creative Early Years professional looking for your next opportunity?
Helston Day Nursery, part of Helston Community College, are looking for a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our warm, supportive, and dedicated team from September 2025.
At our well-established nursery, we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Our experienced team works closely with families to ensure every child enjoys a rich, varied, and meaningful early years’ experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0 – 5;
- Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities;
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s unique journey;
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Hold a recognised Early Years and Childcare qualification [or equivalent] / Level 2 or above
- Are creative, motivated, and genuinely passionate about working with children;
- Have experience in early years settings and understand the importance of play-based learning;
- Are a great communicator and team player;
- Have an interest in Special Educational Needs [SEN] - this is a bonus, not a requirement!
