Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early years of development? Lime Tree Primary School is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant Early Years team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where our youngest learners can thrive.

Your Opportunity 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join Lime Tree Primary as a Nursery Assistant on a permanent basis, working 32.5 hours per week. You will play a key role in supporting young children’s development through engaging learning and play activities, while ensuring their safety and well-being. As a key worker, you’ll build meaningful relationships with children and contribute to their learning journeys. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education, values safeguarding and inclusion, and is keen to be part of a supportive and dynamic team.

What we are looking for

  • Level 2 childcare qualification (or working towards)
  • Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge
  • Understanding of EYFS, child development, and keyworker responsibilities
  • Commitment to gaining GCSE Maths & English (or already working towards)
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and time management
  • Passionate, approachable, and committed to children's welfare

The Details

Start Date: 1st Sept 2025 

Salary: GLF Associate 2 - Point 1 £22,918.66 to Point 16 £24,653 (dependent on experience) 

Actual Salary: £17,799.87 to £19,146.86 (dependent on experience) 

Hours of work: 32.5 Mon-Fri (term time only) 

Closing Date: 29 Jun 2025
