We wish to appoint an exceptional nursery assistant to join our successful school supporting the learning and development of children following the EYFS curriculum in pre school. Our school is a child centred and family friendly school where children feel safe and happy and where everyone shares a love of learning. You will be supported by a small, dedicated staff team who aim for the highest standards and you will be offered on-going professional development opportunities. 

The pre school also provides before and after school childcare for pupils aged 5-11.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.15pm and to include one evening until 6pm at after school club

We are looking for someone who will;

  • ensure they know the needs of all our children and provide support to meet those individual needs
  • invest in and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual in our community
  • demonstrate empathy, compassion and forgiveness so that we all have the courage to take risks and learn from our mistakes
  • begin to grow global citizens who value others and cherish themselves
  • have a thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • have the ability and experience to confidently and competently manage behaviour
  • have high expectations of learning and behaviour 
  • have excellent communication skills with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers
  • enjoy being part of a small, child centred team who achieve high standards in an ethos based on its Christian core values
