What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Nursery teacher who is passionate about Early Years teaching, and who can work as a part of a team and inspire young minds. You must be a committed, energetic, hardworking and caring practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in learning throughout the role.
You will need to be a collaborative and empathetic individual who will work with colleagues to plan, deliver and evaluate provision and learning in early years.
A knowledge and understanding of the new Early Years Framework and experience of working with SEND pupils would be a strong advantage.
The successful candidate will:
- have excellent classroom practice, capable of achieving the best possible outcomes for students,
- have high expectations of themselves and others,
- be committed to school improvement,
- have effective interpersonal and organisational skills.

Otley All Saints CE Primary School was established as a one form entry primary in 2002 following the reorganisation of Otley’s schools. Currently there are 212 pupils on roll, plus a 26 place nursery. The majority of pupils transfer at eleven to Prince Henry’s Grammar School. Otley is an attractive and historic market town on the northwest boundary of Leeds, proud of its heritage and community spirit. The school enjoys strong links with community organisations, such as the Courthouse and the annual carnival, and with All Saints Church.
