What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a Nursery teacher who is passionate about Early Years teaching, and who can work as a part of a team and inspire young minds. You must be a committed, energetic, hardworking and caring practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in learning throughout the role.

You will need to be a collaborative and empathetic individual who will work with colleagues to plan, deliver and evaluate provision and learning in early years.

A knowledge and understanding of the new Early Years Framework and experience of working with SEND pupils would be a strong advantage.

The successful candidate will:

  • have excellent classroom practice, capable of achieving the best possible outcomes for students,
  • have high expectations of themselves and others,
  • be committed to school improvement,
  • have effective interpersonal and organisational skills.

Otley All Saints CE Primary School was established as a one form entry primary in 2002 following the reorganisation of Otley’s schools. Currently there are 212 pupils on roll, plus a 26 place nursery. The majority of pupils transfer at eleven to Prince Henry’s Grammar School.
