Churchend Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a Nursery Lead to join our established and dedicated team.
At Churchend we offer an exciting, broad and balanced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that promotes children’s emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs.
We believe that children learn best through playing and exploring, being active, and through creative and critical thinking which takes place both indoors and outside. This underpins the development of qualities which empower children with the sense that they can progress and achieve.
The successful candidate will be able to provide a high quality and safe provision which promotes all aspects of development of the children who attend the Nursery. This will ensure that every child becomes the best possible version of themselves.
The Role
Your focus will be to make a real impact by guiding pupils, at this transformative age. You will:
- Enable children to achieve age related expectations.
- Be an exciting practitioner with a passion for an engaging curriculum.
- Support the emotional development of each and every child
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to raise attainment and progress
- Address challenges strategically, collaboratively and holistically to enable each child to meet their full potential
- Our ideal candidate is highly organised, is a team player and has strong behaviour management skills
