An exciting opportunity has arisen at our wonderful setting- Heartwood Church of England VC Primary and Nursery School. We are seeking an ambitious, nurturing and dedicated professional to join our school nursery.
We are looking for the ideal candidate who:
- Has experience of working in a nursery or a nursery setting.
- Has at least a Level 3 in Early Years.
- Has a sound understanding of how children learn through play and the adult’s role within this
- Works very well in a team; being able to lead the nursery room two days a week, working closely with another nursery lead, working closely with an EYFS teacher who oversees nursery, working well with all support staff in the nursery,
- Is a passionate and inspiring class practitioner who is adaptable to change.
- Uses assessment to inform planning and teaching
- Will champion all children to fulfil their potential
- Has proven success accelerating children’s learning
- Has a warm personality and a good sense of humour
- Is committed to building strong relationships with the whole school community
- Works well with colleagues, treating all with dignity and respect
- Will embrace the hygge approach to our school community
- Values and works hard to keep and maintain an effective classroom environment
- Will promote the school’s vision and values
