Nursery Manager

We are seeking a Nursery Manager for The Lawns Nursery.

The role of the Nursery Manager is to ensure all children attending The Lawns Nursery receive high quality care, are kept safe and are provided with planned and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs and support all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the Nursery, ensuring that all children are supported in a safe stimulating environment and all staff are motivated to fulfil their role to the highest standard. You will have a high degree of integrity and initiative in managing your own performance and self-evaluation, with experience of providing excellent standards for children from birth to 4 years.

You will be comfortable communicating with parents, children and staff to guide and support with the aim of fulfilling our mission: to provide high quality environments where each child can reach their full potential. With the Nursery committed to providing enriched opportunities, you should be confident, proactive, hard working with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Hours - 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. 40 weeks of the year (term time plus 5 inset days and 5 additional days)

Salary -Level 4E (dependent on experience and/or qualification of the successful candidate).

Qualification-Level 5 qualification (such as diploma or foundation degree) or Early Years Professional status
