Nursery Manager job summary
Batley Multi Academy Trust’s sole purpose is to provide a great education for Primary and Secondary learners throughout a local family of schools. The Trust is passionately committed to the communities of Batley, Birstall, Dewsbury and our surrounding areas, serving our local learners and their families in order to secure excellent educational outcomes, partnered with high aspirations. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School; Batley Grammar School; Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Hyrstmount Junior School; Manorfield Infant and Nursery School; Purlwell Infant and Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. The Trust also operates two community centres called The Fields and the Yorkshire Rose Teaching Partnership for adult education and the Smart Academy. We provide high quality education for all our young people regardless of their background or starting point. Collaboration across our Trust family of schools enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.
Manorfield Infant and Nursery School is a large infant school in the centre of Staincliffe, Batley, delivering a great education for children aged between 2 and 7 years old. We are proud of our caring school ethos and our high aspirations for all. The children at Manorfield School show very positive learning behaviours and we work hard to ensure that the very youngest children get the best start to their educational journey regardless of their background or starting point. We are looking for an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead our nursery provision with passion, energy and vision. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands that children’s earliest experiences shape everything that follows and is passionate about getting those first steps right.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated leader who can inspire both children and adults, creating a vibrant, nurturing and ambitious environment where curiosity flourishes, relationships are at the heart of everything and every child is given the very best start.
