Nursery Nurse - Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for a caring and dedicated Nursery Nurse Level 1 to join our Early Years team, supporting our wonderful 3 and 4 year olds within a vibrant primary school setting.

What you’ll doAs part of our friendly and supportive team, you will:
- Create a welcoming, engaging and inspiring learning environment where children can learn through play
- Support the development of 3 and 4 year olds emotionally, socially and academically in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues to help every child reach their full potential
- Observe, monitor and record children’s progress and celebrate their achievements
- Help maintain a safe, secure and hygienic environment where children feel valued and cared for
- Support children’s personal care needs with dignity, sensitivity and kindness
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to provide the best outcomes for children
- Adapt activities and learning opportunities to meet the diverse needs of all learners and ensure every child can thrive
We are seeking someone who is:
- Passionate about Early Years education and child development
- Experienced or interested in working with nursery-aged children in a school environment
- Knowledgeable about inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Able to build positive relationships with children, families and professionals
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Keen to learn, develop and contribute to the wider life of the school
