Nursery Nurse job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to work in partnership with class teachers to support social, emotional, educational and welfare needs of nursery/early years children in line with early years goals, codes of practice and school policies and procedures. As well as having a strong understanding of building strong relationships with adults and children, we are also looking for someone who can use their initiative. The post may involve working with children to support one-to-one and lead small group interventions.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 11:30 - 15:10 (18.33 Hours per week )

The successful candidate will need to:

  • hold a relevant NNEB qualification or equivalent

  • Have some experience of working with nursery/early years children.

  • Have a caring nature

  • Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults

  • Be able to work as part of a team
