We are looking for an individual who is committed to ensuring every individual child receives the care, support and guidance they need to thrive and be the best they can be. The successful applicant will have good literacy and numeracy skills, a relevant level 3 qualificationand the ability to work collaboratively within a team with minimal supervision. We are looking for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children to join the team at North Cave C of E Primary School as a Nursery Nurse, who will play a vital role in supporting and assisting the teaching and care of children within the school.
This position is Fixed Term until 31 December 2026.
The working hours are 20 hours per week between 08:30am to 15:40pm Wednesday to Friday, during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 20 hours per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development outside of your normal working hours.
Your actual salary will be £12,067 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.

The Education Alliance Multi-Academy Trust was established in 2015 so that South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College could support the setting up of Hunsley Primary School, the East Riding’s first Free School. In February 2016, Malet Lambert School, an 11-16 school in Hull, joined the trust and the following year, Driffield School and Sixth Form joined as a sponsored academy. The Snaith School, an 11-16 school joined us in April 2019 and North Cave CE Primary School in November 2019. Howden Junior School joined us October 2022 followed by Wilberfoss CE Primary School in May 2023. Howden CE Infant School joined us in September 2023 followed by Naburn CE Primary School who joined on 1 October as a sponsored academy.
In addition to the ten schools, the trust also operates Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training, the only Outstanding SCITT based in East Yorkshire, which is training a new generation of primary and secondary teachers in East Riding and Hull.
