Nursery Nurse job summary

Employment Type: Full time Monday - Friday 8.00am-3.45pm with an extra 45 minutes every Monday for directed CPD. Permanent from January 2026 or sooner if available

We are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our EYFS/Nursery Team in our busy, friendly school.

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Nurse who has previously worked within a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will hold a passion for guiding and supporting children in their education and all-round social skills and understanding.

Good communication skills and experience with children are required. You must hold a minimum of a EYFS Level 3 qualaification/NNEB qualification.

Applicants should be articulate with relevant skills in numeracy and literacy. Reasonable ICT skills would be an advantage.

You will be well-organised, flexible, creative, caring, a good communicator and a team player. Duties will include providing indoor and outdoor play and learning opportunities for all children in a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
