Nursery Teaching Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a teaching assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team at Aragon Primary School in Merton. The role will be working as a teaching assistant in nursery and will require experience working within education.

Aragon is a very popular three form entry school set in spacious grounds to allow and encourage healthy outdoors activities. The teachers and governors value honesty, care and respect for others, a sense of responsibility, creativity and imagination and an understanding of what is means to live in a close community.

The suitable candidates will have:

  • A calm and patient nature.
  • Excellent communication skills, with both adults and children.
  • Experience of special educational needs and understand how to motivate and support children to achieve their potential.
  • Experience of using a variety of strategies suitable for special educational needs and be passionate about making a difference to children’s lives.
  • An ability to work on their own initiative.
