Job Role: Nursery Partitioner

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Working Hours: 33 hours per week - 8.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 1.30pm Friday

Term-time only - 39 working weeks

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our committed and supportive team. The successful candidate will be motivated, reflective, professional and committed to high standards ensuring that the children of Woodcot are happy and achieve their best. Relevant experience, of working in a nursery, preschool or early childhood setting, is desirable but not essential. What is imperative is that you have high expectations, a sense of humour, a love of challenge and a determination to make a difference to the lives of our fantastic children. You will also need to be caring, understanding and committed, but above all, you will be sincere with a genuine desire to help young people - the successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting our pupils’ learning.

The successful candidate will:

  • support children to achieve their best potential
  • believe that children's learning has no limits
  • be highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • be a reflective learner who is always open to new initiatives
  • be able to take a ‘holistic’ approach in supporting children
  • be open, approachable and a team player
  • have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • have an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years
  • have key skills in English and Mathematics
